Kool DJ Mace (of the original Fremdtunes team) told himself he never would publish another Fremdklanken samplepack, but “het bloed kruipt waar het niet gaan kan”, so he got back to the studio and this time he recorded and reworked over a hundred sounds from synthesizers, instruments, samplers, and his surroundings, then processed them through a chain of machines to come up with a fresh samplepack.

This pack features a mix of analog and digital drum samples, foley, percussion hits, synthesizer leads, and piano stabs—some fresh, some reworked from previous Fremdklanken packs. The result is a collection that’s raw, textured, and pretty useful.

Instruments and tools used include: Akai S2800 sampler, Ludwig and Gretsch drums, Rösler & August Förster piano, Roland 106, UAD 710 pre-amp, Akai 4000DS tape recorder, Moog Minifoogers, Ashdown pre-amp, dbx compressor, Aston Origin, Shure SM57/SM58/Beta52A, Grundig GDM121, and more.
