DJ Mace once more explores the outer-limits of the nihilistic, beatheavy Fremdkunst-universe. Mace took influence from old school hiphop, Dutch boogie, freejazz, Trax-classics, field recordings from the African continent, the timid singing of French divas, ‘talking blues’ records and present-day electronic music. Inspiration comes from the works of Daniel Denett, Alfred Hitchcock and Stendhal. Musicians who provided sounds-to-chop are Erwin Vann, Wiboud Burkens and Shycop.
