The brand new ‘Disconnected Repeater‘ EP by Big Mister Doom contains two remixes by familiar faces from the UK.
One’s done by Planes (a.k.a. Point B), who pilots ‘Genus‘ with mighty bass-driven beats into a new aerospace. Planes just finished his phenomenal 3-track EP ‘Mind Reader’ (here you’ll find some soundbytes) and will be released on March 27.
Huess (Inaudible Answer) remodels ‘Anybody Out There ft iET‘ with loud snares, corpulent synths and an astonishing arrangement. In 2010, Huess did a remix for Kelpe on his ‘Chocolate Money’ EP released via Fremdtunes.

Ian Scott and Joe Wretham are Manchester-based duo Big Mister Doom. Their follow up to 2012′s ‘Tinderbox‘ EP is called ‘Disconnected Repeater’ and is out now! More mellow and emotive than their previous work, ‘Disconnected Repeater’ is an ingenious mixture of downtempo leftfield hiphop and deeply textured electronic music. First post of the year. Here we go!
Let’s kick off with some announcements for the future. The new LP by Coco Bryce (vinyl/digital) ‘Club Tropicana’ will be released on March 25th. Lefto already previewed the title-track on his weekly radioshow. Another upcoming release: February 25th the Paragon EP by Julian Edwardes will see daylight. Ben Butler & Mousepad and Big Mister Doom remixed two tracks. The latter will also release their new EP in April 2013! Some more namedropping? Moods, Jay Hats, Devastate & Optimus…just you wait.
Last year Soosh released his ‘SoFar‘ EP on Fremdtunes. His debut LP will be released by like-minded label Error Broadcast. We had a pre-listen and it sounds promising as hell. One of the album-songs will be played tomorrow on the new radio-show ‘Fremdtunes @ Jazznotjazz‘ at the Concertzender.
